Robotics Academy of Nevada – June 21st – 25th, 2021
Nevada Robotics will be hosting our annual Robotics Academy of Nevada (RAN) training event the week of June 21st – 25th, 2021. The training week will offer a variety of keynote speakers, hands-on at home robotics workshops, and networking sessions with robotics coaches across the state. Virtual and in-person options will be available.
RAN was developed in 2018 through an investment from Tesla to provide a week-long training for educators to become robotics coaches while increasing confidence in teaching robotics and STEM in the classroom. The goal is to empower pre-service teachers, in-service teachers, and community leaders to increase robotics in our communities and schools.
This year, teachers who plan to start a NEW robotics team during the 2021-2022 school year may be eligible for a stipend to attend and a free robot. Those qualifying teachers will need to contact their region’s robotics coordinator prior to the event.
