You’re invited to an April training event at the K-12 Robotics Center for VEX GO robotics!
Join DRI’s Nevada Robotics program on Tuesday, April 12th from 5pm – 8pm to learn how to build and code a robot designed for elementary-age students called -VEX GO. This training will take place in at the K-12 Robotics Center in downtown Reno (next to the Discovery Museum). We welcome all pre-service teachers, in-service teachers, TEAM UP teachers, 4H leaders, Boys and Girls Club leaders, CIS Site Coordinators, and anyone else who works with elementary students. In addition to the build, you will learn which STEM labs are best to use for your program.
– Bring your laptop or smartphone to this free event!
– Doors open at 5pm for dinner and the training will begin by 6pm.
– You will have access to our Robot Lending Library to check out classroom sets of the VEX GO robot post-training.
– Space is limited – sign up ASAP!
