Nevada Robotics was founded in 2018 as a result of Tesla’s five-year Nevada education investment commitment to increase the number of competitive Robotics teams at schools across Nevada. That five-year investment ended in 2023, and Nevada Robotics is now funded by other grants and gifts, including generous annual donations from one of our founding partners – Nevada Gold Mines. We are continuing our work by training teachers, lending robots, and supporting educators inside and outside the classroom. Our vision is a Nevada education system where all students have early and equal access to engaging and quality computer science instruction to build a foundation for their success in STEM classes, majors, and jobs. Our mission is to train all Nevada PreK – 5 educators how to use robots as learning tools to teach computer science, ELA, and math. Nevada Robotics ultimate goal is a computer science and STEM-literate workforce in Nevada.
