Enrich Student Lives

By Donating Today

Nevada Robotics is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Nevada’s educators use robotics to teach Computer Science (CS-STEM) standards. Our program objectives include training educators, developing robotics curriculum resources, engaging with students and families, and supporting competitive robotics programs. We seek to increase the number of Nevada’s students pursuing employment as engineers, scientists and technical professionals while fostering diversity and inclusion of underrepresented groups in STEM fields.

How Donations Are Used

Join our sponsors to invest in the future of robotics education in Nevada. Local businesses, corporations, experts, and individuals  can join our cause to make a difference by becoming a partner and sponsoring robotics in Nevada.

Investing in robotics is an effective way to support our community and to help increase the number of college-bound STEM students.

Provide educator training

METRICS is a professional development program for PreK-5 educators    that teaches them how to use robots as learning tools to engage children early in computer science and STEM, meet standards in all subjects, and develop their students’ skills such as computational thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and effective communication. By training the   state’s teachers, CS & STEM reaches all students and increases equity and access to quality instruction.

Pay for Robotics Outreach Coaches (ROCs)

ROCs are college students with a passion for robotics. They provide on-site technical assistance to Nevada Robotics-trained educators. Their support is invaluable to teachers who are implementing robots as learning tools in their classrooms to teach state standards.

Purchase robots for schools with trained educators

Trained teachers need classroom sets of robots to use with their students. The after school and enrichment programs

Nevada Robotics partners with also need equipment to use with children attending their programs.

Support competition teams

Nevada Robotics works closely with its partners to support robotics teams with equipment purchases, competition fees, travel expenses, and coach trainings. Also, our team members work at competitions as judges and organizers.
