SAE International announces the 2022 Chowdhury STEM Innovation Contest for elementary and middle school students!
Students grades 4th – 8th are challenged to design an innovative STEM solution for a real-world issue. Contestants (as individuals or teams) will choose an issue, research the issue, imagine a STEM solution to the issue, then create a digital presentation to share their project in an engaging way.
Participants must have an adult mentor to guide them through the contest. A mentor should review the requirements, provide support, collaborate with the participant, and empower creative problem solving.
Registration is FREE and easily done online. There are over $20,000 in prizes – from Apple products, to Chromebooks, to gaming accessories, gift cards, and charity donations.
Students must register by Monday, November 15th, 2021.
Competition entries are due by Monday, February 28th, 2022.
